Vehicle renewal — what you need
- Pay all outstanding traffic fines and Salik dues.
- Valid insurance certificate (1 year).
- Emirates ID + driving license.
- Vehicle (for inspection — older than 3 years).
- Renewal fee: AED 410 (light private vehicle), valid 1 year.
Drive-through completes in 15–25 minutes during off-peak hours. Express lanes for renewal-only (no inspection required) take 5–10 minutes.
